Anyone who knows me knows that I am forever chasing spring florals. So a couple of days spent in the Dandenongs just outside Melbourne this past week was literally my idea of heaven. We spent one day in the National Rhododendron Gardens, and another at the Tulip Festival held annually at Tesselar Farm. Much has changed over the years that I’ve been with more and more tourists arriving. But I still cherish the blooms themselves as much as ever. The cherry blossoms were falling away, the tulips were opening up, and the rhododendrons were in full bloom. And when I returned to Melbourne, I was still full of that freshness that spring and flowers always give me. Despite the hayfever. Haha.
