Down Memory Lane

We’re taking a trip down memory lane, looking through the archive to some black-and-whites from my first trip to Paris. It was a glorious seven days, filled with more walking than I’d ever done in my life (à la flâneur), more art galleries than I’d ever encountered in my life, and more “pinch me” moments than I’ve ever had in my life. Paris is forever mon amour, a little pink and jaded, but always romantic and whimsical. It was the true starting point of my six-month overseas solo adventure, and the moment when I knew everything would work out just fine.

These shots are largely of the people of Paris. I’m forever fascinated by the people who give a city a certain personality, through their style, the little glimpses you catch of their day, how they relate to a city and vice versa. I’m also a little jelly of everyone in Paris right now at the Photo Fair. Enjoy!
