Coffee Chats

I’m a coffee snob. Fact. Actually, it’s probably more accurate to say I’m a coffeeholic. And I have opinions on coffee. So I’m starting a collection of posts to chronicle my love affair with coffee.

I have had a French press, a stovetop, and I’m in the process of getting a pour over. I now have a coffee grinder. And I’ve started buying beans in small batches to try a variety.

I’m a long black/espresso with absolutely no sugar kinda gal, but I love my filter coffee and at a café I’ll try their brew if they have one (the UK was good for that, even if their filter is more percolated; Europe was good for espressos). I prefer brews that are more acidic, have more fruity notes (duh), and have a bit of smoothness. Sounds like me. Lol.

So I’m no connoisseur, but I can share visual stories, in the form of coffee chats. Here goes…with Brunetti coffee, a Melbourne staple. Their Flinders Lane store is a fav, since of an evening, there is often live music, and it’s also the perfect spot for some afternoon study.

Their coffee is classic Italian, and the first batch I bought for grinding. Great with the stovetop. Bellissimo.
