Yep. I love bokeh. Those little round circles. The blurry background. That’s what we photographers call bokeh. Bo, as in bow, and ke, as in kettle. (It’s Japanese, and since I studied it for five years in high school, you could say I’m a tad hung up on the pronunciation.) This year was full of bokeh chasing. I once attempted to try to get those cool star shapes. Didn’t work. Will update when I’ve attempted it again. But, sometimes you get cool photography techniques or photoshoot ideas and they don’t work out. It happens. Case in point. But here’s the 2017 collection of bokeh. Hope you enjoy!
