Heidelberg is known as a place in Melbourne with an artistic heritage. Because of its views of Melbourne city and the Dandenongs stretching into the distance, Heidelberg was home to a school of artists. So when my mum suggested we spend the day around there, walk part of the Artist’s Trail, check out some of the beautiful homes of old artists, and head into a quaint little suburb, Eaglemont, for some good old Melbourne brunch, I immediately said yes! These are some of my memories from that day.
