I spent the weekend just before semester 2 of uni begins on a high country getaway with my cousin – hiking waterfalls, exploring the valleys of the Yarra, and riding on horseback in Snowy River hinterland. Having spent six months taking in some European scenery that genuinely makes one breathless, I can safely say nothing beats the Aussie outback. Sorry. I said it. But like, imagine waking up to this view ☝️🤷
I haven’t been horse riding in over a year, and I didn’t get to do any while in Britain, much as I would have loved to. But this was the most riding I’d done in a single day and honestly, the views were so worth it.
