Welcome to my new Europe adventure series: Postcards From…
We kick things off in Malaysia, before quickly moving throughout Western Europe and back to London and around the United Kingdom. I’ll share a heap of photos (and I really mean a heap), some of my personal reflections, and of course, some tips and recommendations, based on my experiences.
I’ve spent a fair amount of time in Kuala Lumpur, or KL as I call it, seeing as I have some relatives living there. So it’s less about holidaying and more about visiting family, despite the food, street life, and flowers I love to snap while I’m there.
It’s difficult to really explain what it’s like to grow up in a country I’ve always called home with only immediate family. But even so, it’s always a joy to return to the place that has formed part of my history and my identity, even if subconsciously. It brings on many mixed feelings, but I choose to cultivate the ones that matter most.
Malaysia, you’ve been good for me.
